I am currently working as a generalist MLT in a fast paced ER setting in the Grandview FreeStanding ED. I am a primary operator for the day shift working 7 days on and 7 days off. I am responsible for all of the daily maintenance of analyzers, as well as all QC required daily. I am familiar with a variety of kit testing for multiple manual tests. I perform on a daily basis CBC testing, manual cell differentials, coagulation, urinalysis, urine microscopy, cardiac enzymes and chemistry panels. This is a fast paced job requiring me to be able to multitask and work quickly to get results to the physician.

I worked as a travel MLT in a generalist position. This was for a healthcare company that sent me to multiple hospitals in need of MLTs who were completely competent and able to learn the job requirements. I was expected to pick up the job quickly and work independently within days of being assigned to the hospital lab. This job also required excellent communication skills as well as being able to multitask.

In this job I worked as an MLT in multiple STAT labs throughout the hospital. The labs were based on the Intensive Care units they were a part of. One of these labs was located inside of the main OR area, running stat labs for the individual OR rooms. This was a fast paced job requiring multitasking and good communication skills.
