I've started out at the facility as a mental health worker. Then when we opened several other houses out in the community. I was put in a house with three patients. They had to have 24 hr care. Two of them would have explosive behaviors from time to time. One of the clients was hearing impaired. He would get aggravated at times because he couldn't figure out how to communicate. I had to work with him to calm him down. My job was very challenging at times but very rewarding as But I have always liked a challenge's ,I love helping others. My job was to teach them life skills in the community and at home I taught them how to cook ,clean ,even till a garden. Two of the patients I even had to assist with their bath.
