Monica Hutzler

My name is Monica Hutzler, age 43. I have been blessed to work for Indiana Fitness Works since 2018, after moving to Indiana with my family from Louisiana. I have that sweet southern charm and I love taking care of people! I graduate from Bossier Parish Community College in 2009 with my Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. I started my career with Willis Knighton Health System. I worked post-op acute care for 6 years, then progressed to traveling between Willis Knighton’s additional facilities including rehabilitation center, nursing homes and 3 other acute facilities that provided Neurological, cardiac and pediatric care, individually. After 10 years, I am diverse in knowledge and experiences! I was blessed to be hired by Indiana Fitness Works and have been faithfully covering Magnolia buildings as a full time traveler for 7 years now. I briefly stepped into Rehab director positon for 3 months at Willowbend Living Center until it sold to another owner this past January. I was fortunate to remain with Indiana Fitness as a Full time traveler since. Due to recent cuts in government funding, Indiana Fitness is having to cut staff. I do not have a FULL time position in one building, so my hours have been decreased. I am looking for another potential home or good PRN back up in order to remain PRN at my current employer. I can use my skills and personality to bless and inspire other’s during their post-op and rehab journey! I would love to go back to my roots and explore Acute inpatient care again!!!
