  • This contract I was able to work at both a stand-alone hospital in Sanford and their sister campus in Biddeford.   • This contract was my first contract assignment. Here I learned many valuable skills, one was the ability to quickly adapt to new environments and succeed. Maine General and Thayer were two completely different hospitals to work at, with new staff, new computer systems and new doctors to learn to work with; however, with this opportunity I was able to grow and quickly learn to adapt my skills and become an asset to the team. At both campuses I was responsible for triage, quick care, stabilizing patients, transferring patients, bedside care, managing ER holds, taking care of acute psych patients, preforming sexual assault exams, EKG’s, patient education, and more.
