  • Hired as the head of membership and councils. Responsible for the Association's membership growth and retention. Optimize an organization-wide initiative to ensure retention goals were met and exceeded, never dropping below an 85% retention rate, recognized as - excellent.
  • Led cross-functional teams to exceed benchmarks for SEMA delivery of membership benefits to meet the needs of the diverse membership of manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, online sellers and jobbers.
  • Lead on the association's Customer Service SOP project. Implemented a 10-page best practice booklet for staff to ensure the most customer-centric interactions with members, exhibitors and vendors.
  • SEMA councils and networks offer members a variety of niche-specific programs and activities designed to provide educational and networking opportunities while promoting their particular market segment.
  • Oversaw the the 9 staff liaisons to the councils and networks.
  • Managed budgets effectively for each council and network to ensure optimal use of resources while maintaining financial stability.
  • Transferred in 2013 to events when SEMA brought the sales function of the SEMA Show in-house. Responsible for exhibitor booth, advertising and sponsorship sales for the trade-only show. It's the largest trade show in North America with over 160k professionals in attendance.
  • Managed over 3 million dollars working with companies like 3M, Sherwin-Williams, Snap-on and small businesses as well that make up 80% of our exhibitors.
