Summary

Working in a professional, well established, and reputable office setting, preferably working in finance, which is where I gained most of my sales and exceptional customer relations skills. I've also always been interested in learning more about finance unrelated to mortgages and real estate, and helping clients learn as well; thus providing a sense of relief for them; helping by offering and then following through w the best product for each. I feel confident and natural when working with clients because I am naturally, a very outgoing and friendly, helpful individual. I have no problem meeting deadlines or working in a fast paced environment. I have held different positions in which only an extremely organized, persistent and punctual employee could manage alone. I feel I am pretty diverse as well and am also a quick, "hands on" learner.

Administrative Assistant, Loan Partner, Sales Assistant

  • At this office I handled all administrative duties as well as assisted the branch managers with their pipelines, including daily morning meetings, going over each file and providing status information
  • I also became the point contact for most of our clients throughout the loan process, keeping them updated as well and collecting and submitting conditions until the files were complete
  • I also would make sales calls generated from the branch managers' database of previous clients, if our services were to improve their financial situation at that time
  • I helped bring old clients to new Guild clients, increasing business for our branch.

Sales and Marketing Assistant

  • I worked for a lender who had a website where clients would go online applying for a mortgage; mostly purchases and being notified by email once the online application was complete
  • I promptly contacted the applicants, screening them thoroughly and if conditions were met, would forward the application onto the lender
  • I also kept a pipeline following up with prospective borrowers and giving them the proper documentation to submit.

Loan Modification Processor and Negotiator

  • In this position I processed loan modifications and worked with the clients and lenders in getting the best possible modification, forbearance, or reduction in principle balance for the customer
  • I also assisted in short sales if that was the best option for the client
  • I worked on a daily basis following up with the banks, negotiating terms and submitting conditions and income and expense forms to meet certain ratios and the criteria required by the lender
  • I was successful in getting most modifications approved including getting the first lien holder to work steadily with the second if applicable by being aggressive, and persistent enough to get in contact with managers, negotiators and underwriting, getting past customer service and retention teams
  • I also got a significant amount of principle reductions approved which was almost impossible during this period, as it was a time where most lenders were unaware of the programs they even had available, or just not willing to cooperate with the customers
  • During this period was the beginning of these types of programs and everyone in my position was just learning the changes in the market; I was thrown into this position without adequate training so to speak and learning on my own, processing over 30 files a month on my own
  • A pipeline was also updated at the end of each business day in preparation for the next morning.
