Moniq is a Hispanic singer/songwriter from Corpus Christi, Texas with 10+ years of performing experience. Coming from a musical family, she always wanted to become a singer like her grandfather, Freddie Martinez. She describes her style as pop with a hint of lofi R&B. Moniq's musical style is also influenced by the glittery Y2K pop music she grew up listening to. As an artist, she wants her music to tell a captivating story. Some of her influences include Alina Baraz, Sabrina Carpenter, and Raveena. Moniq's goal is to create music that's empowering, confident, and danceable.
