
I was a Board Certified General Surgeon for twenty years. I stopped practicing in 2013 as I chose to stay home, raise and homeschool our three daughters. My wife is a Family Physician and continues to practice. I am looking for a new career in medicine. I miss talking with patients and helping them. I've always had an interest in palliative medicine. However, I experienced the caring and compassion of the providers who cared for my father when he passed two years ago and that really solidified my desire to pursue a new career in palliative medicine.
