• A proud graduate of Western Illinois University and an active supporter of WIU, in many different ways since graduating from Western Illinois University in 1990
• Founder of the Western Illinois University “Legacy Sale”. An online auction event created to support the WIU Agriculture Department, the WIU Livestock Judging Team and the WIU Animal Science Department.
• Served over 25 years on the Western Athletic Club (WAC)
• A founding committee member of the Purple & Gold Gala, an annual event, for over 30 years, supporting WIU Athletics. Served as a committee member for every year and & attended and served as the auctioneer for each year except 1.
• Along with wife Carrie, serve as the chapter advisors for Alpa Gamma Rho.
