Operate, monitor, and maintain water treatment and distribution systems including pumps, valves, meters, hydrants, reservoirs, wells, and related equipment.

Perform water sampling and laboratory testing to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal water quality standards.

Maintain accurate records and logs of water usage, testing results, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.

Inspect and repair water mains, service lines, valves, meters, and hydrants.

Detect and respond to system malfunctions, water main breaks, or leaks; assist in emergency repairs as needed. systems.

Conduct flushing of water lines and maintenance of fire hydrants.

Respond to customer inquiries and service requests in a courteous and professional manner.

Participate in rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Operate machinery such as shredders, conveyors, drying systems, and material separators.

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on recycling equipment.

Follow strict safety protocols when handling potentially hazardous materials (e.g., lithium, electrolyte).

Participate in quality control processes to ensure proper material separation and recovery.

Assist in loading/unloading of materials using forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided).

Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and EHS personnel to improve processes.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S and EHS standards.

Support continuous improvement efforts across safety, efficiency, and material recovery.

Safely operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), including sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks, to move merchandise.

Load and unload trucks and trailers according to shipment schedules and dock assignments.

Ensure that merchandise is properly staged, secured, and handled to avoid damage.

Assist with sorting, tagging, and scanning items using handheld RF scanners.

Support inventory control processes by reporting discrepancies or damages immediately.

Follow all safety policies and procedures related to equipment use and dock operations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free dock and work area.

Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment and report malfunctions.
