I have over 18 years of experience in marketing, advertising and brand communication spanning multiple roles and responsibilities including strategic planning, account servicing, business development, market research and data analysis. I have held senior strategic planning roles at McCann Health, Carat and iProspect across bases in Singapore, China and the USA.
I am currently a VP of Strategic Planning at EVERSANA Intouch. In my current role, I lead a strategic planning team in delivering brand and omnichannel strategies for a big pharma client’s Oncology portfolio and Patient Services division.
About my 5 years at Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN):
I worked with Carat's business teams as the strategic lead identifying the impact of current media trends, consumer journey insights, and how these influence the way we engage with consumers. By Q4 2015, Carat's CRR scores on strategic insight were 33% higher than the industry average. In the R3 2016 Client Survey, Carat was rated #1 for Audience Insight and Creative Thinking.
The ways of working led by my team have been an integral part of new business wins, with Convergence Planning at the heart of bringing media planning and SME's together to tell great stories and create connected experiences for each pitch assignment. Biggest win of 2016 was The Coca-Coca Company. By the end of 2017, The Coca-Cola Company rated the Carat with a TRR score of 8.5, with clients specifically mentioning the strategy team's contribution to fostering a collaborative working process and thought leadership.
I brought this omnichannel mindset into iProspect in 2018. I generated consumer insights by leveraging DAN’s M1 platform along with various 3rd party data sets. I used these insights to develop a cohesive story, set the strategic direction and define media principles that guided tactical plans across performance channels (SEO, SEM, Content, Social and eCommerce) for clients and new business pitches.
My healthcare & pharma experience:
The years I spent at McCann Health were very enriching. I would even say that my experience and evolution as a strategist was built on healthcare & pharma marketing right from the start. I have a special knack for understanding clinical studies & data, and translating the insights I find in them into strategies that creative and engagement teams can run with. I have experience in a broad range of healthcare categories - cardiovascular disease, diabetes, oncology, urology, infectious disease, reproductive health, and OTC just to name a few. These roots led me back to my current position today.
