Albert B. Chandler Hospital (UK Health). Cardiac cath lab travel assignment with experience in pediatrics, electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology.
5 lab Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Experience in circulating, administering conscious sedation, and documentation in right heart catheterizations, left heart catheterizations with/without intervention, atherectomy including Rotablator, PFO/ASD closures, pericardiocentesis, LAA occlusions, pulmonary valve replacements, and placement of mechanical assist devices including IABP, Impella, ECMO, ProtekDuo. Circulated and documented in structural cases including TAVRs, MitraClip, mitral valve replacements, as well as pediatric structural cases. STEMI experience including on-call shifts.
UVA Health. 14 bed acute cardiology and vascular intermediate care. Monitored complex patients pre/post cardiac procedures including cardiac catheterizations and valve replacements. Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital. 60 bed cardiac and vascular hospital. Provided specialized cardiac care ranging from chest pain work up, pre/post cardiac catheterization lab, and pre/post cardiac surgery including valve replacements and various types of vascular bypass.
Virginia Mason Medical Center. 20 bed neurology and neurosurgery floor with continuous bedside monitoring. Patient care ranging from stroke work up to pre and post-surgery including craniotomies and spinal surgery.
University of Washington Hospital. Served as program coordinator for the pulmonary and neuromuscular clinics at a Magnet Status Hospital. Utilized nursing process and communicated with MDs and other members of care team to design safe and therapeutic care plans for high risk, long – term patients. Triaged and prioritized patient calls and needs especially those patients on day and nighttime ventilation and those with tracheostomies.
