I started my career following my love of education classroom teacher for a Developmental Day Program at Onslow County Child Development Center. While teaching I also worked Part-Time on Camp Johnson Base Library for MCCS. Wanting to try my hand at being a lead at a smaller library, I later moved to being the lead Youth Programmer at RIchlands Library. Shortly after COVID I stepped out of teaching and followed my next passion in the garden. I worked for a company named Plant Partners until the company was bought out by Lowe's Home Improvement. Seeking a more work/life balance while also finishing my last semester in college I sought employment at Pinecone Garden Center until the end of growing season.
