• Administered medications via oral, IV, and intramuscular injections and monitored responses.

Outpatient Surgery Feb 2018-current

• provide patient centered care to patients schedule to have procedures done at facility.
• obtain vital signs, start IVs, and provide medication as directed by anesthesia providers and physicians.
• communicate abnormal findings and changes in patients condition to anesthesia providers and surgeons.
• Oversee the unit as charge nurse and delegating task as needed, while also providing answers and guidance for other staff on the unit.
• Prepare Surgery charts and review them to make sure all needed paperwork, orders, and clearances are present on surgery patient.
• Call surgery patients before procedure to verify their medications, medical and surgery history prior to arrival for procedure.
