Perform sonographic procedures of the abdomen, superficial structures, gravid and non-gravid pelvis using the guidelines of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and protocols of the affiliated institutions

Observe and care for patients/clients throughout examinations to ensure their safety and comfort

Observe computer screen during scan to ensure that the image produced is satisfactory for diagnostic purposes, and adjust equipment as required

Assist in getting patients and taking them back to their rooms/waiting area, stocking supplies, prepping exam rooms and cleaning post exam
