Inspired, this is the word I would use to describe myself. Throughout my lifetime I have made hundreds of goals, some I have achieved and some I detached from as my interest changed, but one that has never dwindled is my goal to become a doctor. From as early as I can remember I have been dreaming of and playing a doctor. I used to take my barbies and stuffed animals and make them casts using paper, sticks and tape. I used to ask my little sister make up something that was wrong with her so I could "save her" and make her all better. While other kids were playing barbies and other children's games, I was trying to heal anything I could. This passion didn't end at 10, it continued on into my teens and all the way to present day. I could go on and on about every time I was further inspired to continue on the medicine path but it is better said in person. I am someone who will not be deterred from this dream of becoming a doctor. I am a hard worker and when an obstacle comes in my way, I may cry for a moment, but I will always overcome it. On top of this I am very good with patient interactions and always doing my best to make individuals trust me and mostly feel comfortable around me. As you can see my dream is to become a doctor and the possibility of joining Phi Delta Epsilon has given me more hope of achieving this goal. Everything that comes along with this medical fraternity excites me, from all the opportunities in my undergraduate years and graduate years all the way to making new friends that are like minded.
