Intentional learning and NAEYC is a huge integration at SCC Child Development Center. Describing it as not only watching children, but observing, taking notes on certain behaviors, working to fix errors and adjust to those who need a little extra help. Making internal relationships not only with the children but with the staff and other employees and working together to make it feel more comfortable and professional. There are so many things that go into being a teacher, especially with each age it is different. Knowing the age appropriate games, crafts, toys, books, room environments are best for each room.

Working at my first daycare, we strived to promote healthy classroom environments, working on problem solving, age-appropriate playing, and making those internal relationships and trust with teachers and students.
