• Volunteered for a week at the annual Camp POSTCARD. This is a weeklong overnight summer camp for 4th and 5th graders who have displayed leadership potential in their schools and communities from the metro area.
• Provided counselors with assistance in leading team building activities, making sure the campers were following camp rules and ensured that the campers were staying safe. Built relationships with the campers to help them feel comfortable and welcome.

• Participated in volunteer orientation and training sessions to learn about the organizational and rules to follow when caring for the animals.
• Insured that the safety protocols were followed when caring for the dogs.
• Responsible for taking care of the dogs by feeding, cleaning kennels, doing laundry, dishes and taking them for walks.
