- With FantasySP, I started as a fantasy sports writer. I picked up editing responsibility, and also do some back-end website work (adjusting player ratings and website homepage configuration).
- I mainly write about fantasy football, baseball and basketball, covering the NFL, MLB and NBA. I edit stories for fantasy hockey (NHL).
- I also help put together the content calendar, so determining who writes about what and when. FantasySP has grown steadily since I came on board, and we have introduced new tools and features (including an AI Fantasy Assistant).

- My main beat was covering/taking photos at area high school sporting events (all sports). I was essentially a one-person sports department, compiling all the game stories, roundups and features that go online or in one of our three publications.
- I also used to cover the Green Bay Packers throughout the year, distributing a special section each regular season or postseason week. I covered all home games and attended the postgame press conferences and availability. I also attended some offseason and preseason events.
- As far as college sports coverage, I followed the area graduates that were playing in college and compiled a roundup of their events every week. There were also times where I wrote feature stories on area graduates that were excelling in college.
- I also gained experience designing pages while working there. I put together our entire Packers section every week and our regular sports section from time to time through InDesign.
- I’ve also created videos for some of the events I covered and am looked to as someone who is helping the company become more digitally-focused.
