I currently hold the position of 5th-grade teacher, specializing in Reading, Language Arts (RLA), and Social Studies. My instructional approach seamlessly integrates across various subjects, showcasing a versatile skill set.

As the present team leader, I've led initiatives to enhance collaboration and foster a positive learning environment. Additionally, I've actively participated in key decision-making bodies, including the Campus Improvement Committee and district-level committees such as the Long-Range Facilities and Future Facilities Committees.

I held the position of 5th-grade teacher at Crestview Elementary, an esteemed National Blue Ribbon Award-winning school within Judson Independent School District. In my role, I managed a self-contained general education classroom, overseeing the comprehensive instruction of core subjects.

In 2017, my expertise was recognized by the district ELAR specialist, leading to my selection for the district-wide ELAR improvement committee as a curriculum designer. This role involved crafting the 5th-grade Reading Curriculum Based Assessments for implementation across all classrooms district-wide. My impact extended beyond curriculum development; I spearheaded the adoption of the district's Close Reading initiative, demonstrating leadership at both the campus and district levels.

To further support the educational community, I collaborated closely with campus and district administration. By providing them with exemplar lesson plans and student journals showcasing classroom success, I played a vital role in advancing the achievement of both campus and district goals.
