Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal
From April of 2022 to November of 2022, I was the lead corpsman at King Hall on Naval Station Newport, RI. I was one of few corpsman in charge of setting up/conducting mass immunizations, blood draws, medical record management, and as a medical standby during physical exercises for all OCS/ODS/Midshipman candidates. During that time, I was also in charge of running a morning sick call and also an appointment based system in the afternoon. Upon my departure from the command, I was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for taking initiative and giving higher than optimal medical care on all medical operations during that time.
