In my role as a Home Visitor I have successfully support the development needs of children aged 0-5, including those diagnosed with autism. My work focused on fostering positive outcomes in their cognitive, social, and emotional development. One of my key accomplishments was developing and implementing individualized educational and developmental plans tailored to each child's unique needs. For instance, I worked closely with a family whose 4- years-old child was diagnosed with autism. By incorporating evidence based practices, such as visual supports and sensory activities, I helped the child improve communication skills and social interactions. Over a period of 6 months, the child showed measurable progress, meeting 80% of the developmental milestones set in the initial plan.

I have received training in specialized areas such as the Parent As Teacher program, which has further equipped me to address the diverse needs of young children, including those with developmental delayed disabilities.
