I lived most of my life in northern california. A passion and determination to do my best set me on a course from dishwasher to sous chef in under five years.
As a kitchen manager, I optimized guest relations and trained people with zero experience. My patience, humor, and relaxed demeanor allowed my trainees to feel comfortable around me and befriend me, which inspired them to perform at their peak levels and strive for improvement.
After earning a BA in English from UC Davis, I put my patience, empathy, drive, and humor to use in the classroom. I forged bonds of mutual respect and friendship with my students, and motivated them to keep striving and to keep learning.
Now in Atlanta, Georgia, I want to see what new skills I can master and how I can help bolster a new team.
