Took on the responsibilities of supervisor and put on upgrade when supervisor took time off. As a Journeyman operator I had the privilege and responsibilities to maintain a combined total of 7 generation systems that consist of both PSI and Clortec. Job duties are simple, maintain and insure systems are preforming properly, leak free and are producing a good titration. Develop the best and most effective, efficient, procedures so we can utilize our time to maintain our systems. Work along side our supervisor and communicate any upcoming changes in the overall systems. Dose reservoirs that are found to have a low PPM residual. PM systems weekly, replace compromised and failed assets and replenish parts as often as needed. Adjust feed rates with the assistance of CCOPs to achieve precise injection of sodium hypochlorite at the point of disinfection. Trouble shoot systems to insure optimal performance.

(Was upgraded to Chlorine Tech for 6 months). Rebuild control valves, PM ZTV valves, stretch and un-stretch vertical turbine motors, Insured Albuquerque Bernalillo county with safe clean potable water. Rebuild or replace recirculating pumps and positive displacement pumps. ASR included. Perform and complete scheduled PM's, OM's, and CM's on EZMAX Mobile. Make sure all wells pumps, boosters are in good working order inside well houses and pump stations. Treat water inside reservoir's as needed. Generate work orders and also close out work orders in a timely manner. Attend to any and all alarms from SCADA as called upon. CDL operator, change out oil and grease as needed. Assist Electronic Technicians perform antenna PM's utilizing the boom truck. Insure surge tank and air compressors are all working properly and perform a PM as needed.

Insured the public had safe clean drinking water. My duties and responsabilities as a level 2 operator were on the salt truck. Duties were to make sure brine tanks were filled with salt so that our generation systems could produce a .8 percent sodium hypochlorite. Accept salt deliveries at the surface plant to fill our salt silos. Trouble shoot our PSI and Chlortech systems if the stopped producing sodium hypochlorite. Insure analyzers were reading our chlorine accuretly. Disinfect resevoirs as needed per SCADA or supervisor. Rotation on oil PMs for my CDL skill pay. Tend to and clear alarms as often as needed.

Implemented best practices to insure the public had clean safe drinking water. Take residuals and log data into EZMAX Mobile for a free and total residual. Flush lines at entry point to distribution locations to attain accurate samples all across albuquerque. Retrieve grab samples from resevoirs as needed. Treat water to a residual desired from operations. As a night runner on swing shift my other duties were inspections of our pump stations and well houses. Inspections included water leaks, fire extinquishers, eye wash stations. Create work orders for utility technitions to repair.

My responsibilities were to maintain safe runways and taxi ways on the airfield. Communicate with tower to navigate in and out of the airspace. Day time and at night time which was very challenging if you did not have effective communication skills to be in constant contact with the tower. Operate heave equipment daily. Front end loaders for erosion control and or to move cement barriers. Backhoes for clearing out ditches or for trenching. Twenty foot snow plows to plow the runways during snow events. Operate street sweepers out on the city streets and around airline terminals. Run twenty foot brooms to on runways to clear small debris from runways. Repair barbed wire fences and razor wire. Assist with the overall maintenance of the airfield.

Custodial Building Leader

As a building leader I was assigned a newly built agriculture building three stories high. This building consisted of three custodians per floor and myself as building leader I split the floor with the first floor custodian. I was given the responsibilities to insure all three floors were properly maintained. Scheduled intermediate and restorative level projects to maintain carpets and refinish waxed hallway floors. Take a full count of all four janitorial closets to order materials needed weekly. I was rough terrain certified and fork lift certified as well. Would assist in special events at the Aggie stadium to run equipment to get the stadium cleaned up after football games. I was put in charge of running a small crew on weekends to clean outdoor windows on multilevel buildings using a special trailer and hydraulic lift.
