- Write and execute Test Plans and Test cases to find bugs and issues within apps and websites
- Work with clients to make sure QA tests efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Present findings in meetings to developers and work with them throughout bug creation until verification of fix
- Write detailed bug reports that include information on how to reproduce issues, screenshots/screen recordings of issues, as well as Device specs that might be needed to help identity cause of bug
- Track current bugs and follow up with engineers on fixes
- Create well organized “paper trails” that link bugs to related features that caused the issue
- Run regression tests on apps to catch bugs that might have been missed during initial testing or new bugs that may be created as result of new feature being added
- Delegate tasks to other testers to cover larger scope of big features
- Run bug bashes with developers to go through backlog of open issues
- Catch countless critical/high level issues early in pre-production testing to ensure healthy launch of features
- Work as a team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner without overwhelming developers and testers
- Gained experience working in a agile development cycle on many projects
