• Delivered instruction to a 2nd-grade class of 19 students full-time for 16 weeks by designing age-appropriate lessons in math, ELA, science, and STEM. This resulted in a 35% improvement in scores from formative and summative assessment data.
• Refined Classroom management skills and strategies by collaborating with my mentor teacher and support staff to meet individual students’ needs. This resulted in fewer behavior incidents and improved student engagement.

• Implemented and adapted lesson plans left by a classroom teacher to support students' needs and the demands of the day by being inquisitive and flexible. This resulted in a fluid transition from classroom teacher to substitute teacher and vice versa.
• Successfully navigated classroom management for short term goals to keep students motivated and engaged by integrating Sub Card Points in every classroom I entered for over 4 years.
• Maintained instructional continuity by arriving early to familiarize myself with classroom routines and procedures to ensure a seamless shift in responsibilities of the classroom. This resulted in preparedness for the day and kudos from present staff who witnessed it.
