Instruction in Modern World History, US History, US Government according CA Content, Core Standards, and Framework assigned for History and Social Science, and oversee college-support class for Social Sciences. Taught Principles of Leadership elective course. Working in professional learning communities (PLC) to provide best-practice daily instruction and academic/social-emotional supports/interventions for a diverse population of students. Implementing effective lesson plans for synchronous and asynchronous instruction using Google and CANVAS software/platforms. Providing feedback and interventions based on formative and summative assessment data and daily engagement. Executing classroom management procedures and outcomes. Clerical recording, grading, and attendance. Involved in IEP/504 assessment/responses, and parent communication. Class of 2024 Advisor, providing high school and college mentorship. Organizer/advisor for National History Day competition team, Latino(x) and African American student leadership associations, and cultural events.
Taught 7th & 8thgrade students U.S. and World History according CA content standards and framework assigned for this grade-level. Created whole-team guided lesson plans. and providing feedback and interventions based on data from formative and summative assessments. Executed classroom management procedures and outcomes. Daily team, clerical, and record-keeping duties, such as copies and preparation for individual and team instruction. Performed daily attendance, IEP/504 assessment/responses, and disciplinary record keeping. Participated in daily-weekly-monthly team, staff, and district-wide PLCs and trainings. Led a daily Sports elective class. Provided love, care, and personal mentorship to students in need. In response to COVID 19 school closures, I worked independently and collectively in the creation and implementation of live and recorded online distance-learning modules for grade-level History.

Proctored and graded assignments and term exams. Provided academic support, mentorship, and skills improvement to students in areas of historical research, content comprehension, and writing.
Co-taught Reading Mastery program. Led self-contained daily groups from kindergarten through second grade, implementing guided lesson plans, creative activities, and providing personal guidance and support to students needing improvement with grade-level reading and writing skills.
