 Observes a behavior, collects data and conducts an assessment of behavior to develop the most appropriate behavioral treatment plan
 Works with all members of the treatment team (child, parent/caregiver, teacher, mobile therapist, therapeutic staff support etc.) to design and direct a behavior modification plan that will meet the needs of the child and family.
 Provides instruction, supervision and support to other members of the treatment team in their roles and responsibilities in implementing the plan.
 Participates in special child-specific, family focused interagency service planning meetings.
 Determines the need for any necessary family support services with the family and the case manager and develop with the case manager and other involved professionals, a plan to obtain the identified services
 Works with the BHRS Generalist to ensure authorization for services
 Develops a crisis plan with other professionals and the family.

 Ensure safety, health and wellbeing of individual served
 Provide instruction to individuals in a residential setting to promote intellectual, emotional and social growth
 Participate in implementation of individualized programs to children
 Respond to individuals needs according to behavior analytic interventions.
 Assist with the implementation of function based interventions
 Tolerate defiant and aggressive behavior and use approved physical management technique when necessary.
 Collect data on all targeted behaviors and input them into database
 Communicate information in a timely manner and records medical information and unusual incidences immediately. Provides documentation of significant events as requested in special circumstances (e.g. Behavior Incident Reports, Accident/Injury Reports, Seizure Reports, statement related to staff or client concerns
 Case management: Enters all behavioral data for clinical and academic targets for all cases, updated graphs and communication logs.
 Case management: Ensures all individuals clothing materials and personal items are treated respectfully and returned to proper storage locations in a neat and orderly fashion
 Case management: Creates and maintain materials required for the implementation of the teaching plans and BSP for each assigned cases or as assigned by supervisor.

 Carries out specific interventions that are identified in the behavioral treatment plan.
 Transfers the skills needed to promote the child's growth and development to the parent/caregiver, teachers and other adults involved in the child's life.
 Helps client avoid or eliminate socially inappropriate threatening or dangerous behavior.
 Prevents the needs for more restrictive settings or provide a time limited

 Provided active treatment program to individuals served
 Ensured safety, health and wellbeing of the individuals served
 Provided growth promoting daily living experiences for individuals served
 Administer and documents medication administration in accordance with regulatory requirements policies
 Follows proper transportation procedures for all individuals to and from program.
 Participates in residents and program specialists in the development and implementation of an individual support Plan including individualized resident goals and implement all procedures as written in each individual's support plan or protocol summary and in resident's teaching plan.
 Trains and assists new/unfamiliar staff with routines, protocol and individual resident needs.
 Document the completion of all tasks and duties relative to assigned residents (e.g. hygiene, bed checks, meals, activities) in an accurate and thorough manner within the required time frame.
