• Configuring and optimizing Splunk dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights into security incidents and trends.
• Developing and fine-tuning correlation searches and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and respond to potential security breaches.
• Collaborating with system administrators to integrate Splunk with other security tools and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Conducting in-depth forensic analysis using Splunk to investigate security incidents and identify root causes, enabling swift remediation and prevention of future occurrences.
• Implementing and managing Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) modules to enhance threat intelligence and streamline security operations.

As a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity while contributing to the organization's security initiatives. You will work closely with experienced cybersecurity professionals to analyze and mitigate security risks, monitor security events, and implement security controls to protect our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze security logs and data to quickly detect and respond to security incidents.
• Help configure and manage security tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives by developing and delivering training materials to educate employees about cybersecurity risks and best practices.
