Munira Abdi

Hello! My name is Munira Abdi, and I am entering my junior year enrolled at the University of Washington, Bothell but I have developed a strong interest in Biomedical and Health Informatics at the University of Washington Seattle. I have enjoyed taking several informatics and programming classes, which has further fueled my passion for this field. I have also taken an interaction design class and really enjoyed created prototypes, designing to better help individuals interact with things such as systems and services. I plan to apply to both the major and the Seattle campus for Spring 2025 and aim to graduate in June 2026. I have developed strong skills in communication, volunteering, and time management! I have volunteered extensively at my local mosque as well as tutoring children in my free time, which has enhanced my interpersonal and organizational abilities. I have experiences in working front desk jobs. I am eager to find a part-time or full-time job where I can apply my skills and gain valuable work experience. I thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy meeting new people, and comfortable taking on a variety of tasks. My positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning new skills make me an ideal candidate for this internship. I am excited about the opportunity to gain hands on experience and grow in this field
