St. Louis Community College- Meramec, 08/2020 - 12/2020, STLCC Principles of Biology SEA Phages Project/Poster, Dr. Robert Harms' introductory biology lab course offered the opportunity of identifying a bacteriophage using basic scientific protocols such as serial dilution, aseptic technique, DNA extraction, isolation, purification, and amplification. The project was funded through the Science Education Alliance Phage program. My roles as a student in his lab course included:- Being responsible for my own bacteriophage sample collection- Working through each step of the scientific protocol while still meeting proper deadlines- Entering and filling the bacteriophage on The Actinobacteriophage Database appropriately- Displaying the project poster in STLCC's Biology Department at the Meramec campus
