I oversee operations at the Khor Al Al Zubair NGL Plant, located approximately 30 kilometers south of Basra
Currently, the plant, operated by the South Gas Company, is functioning below its designed capacity
It consists of three LPG production units, with one unit currently inactive
As part of BGC's strategic plan, our primary objective is to optimize Train 2 to reach its full design capacity, followed by the rehabilitation of Train 1
This rehabilitation phase is aimed at reducing flaring and ensuring the safe restoration of operational assets
Our subsequent focus will be on rejuvenating the facilities to extend their operational lifespan and restore the plant to its maximum capacity

The Khurmala Dome spans approximately 22 km in length and 3 km in width
Its tertiary reservoir primarily comprises limestone with favorable porosity and permeability, alongside relatively low fracture density
While boasting the largest gas cap in the region, Khurmala Dome features a comparatively short oil column
Anticipated oil production from the Khurmala Dome is estimated at 100,000 barrels per day of stock tank dry oil, accompanied by up to 100 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of associated gas
The production operations will be centralized around three degassing stations: Khurmala North, Khurmala Middle, and Khurmala South
Each station will feature individual flow lines for oil gathering, with initial gas separation conducted through first-stage separators
Oil and gas from the satellite stations will be routed to the center of operations (CPS-1 & CPS-2 Station) for second-stage separation, oil treatment, gas compression, and dehydration
Effluent water will undergo treatment and re-injection into dumping wells for disposal

Umm Qasr Long Term LPG Export Phase 1 Project "Refrigeration Project"
The demolition scope of the propane condensers is not merely exhaustive destruction; rather, it forms an integral part of the refurbishment efforts within the Refrigeration Project
Specifically, the replacement of both sets of induced draft air-cooled heat exchangers is mandated
These exchangers play a crucial role in condensing propane following the compression cycle, particularly in Trains C and D
Situated within Area A5 of the storage terminal facility, these cooling trains are pivotal components ensuring operational efficiency and reliability

Khurmala CPS Facilities represent existing process production facilities in Kurdistan, strategically positioned within the relevant oil and gas field
Equipped with dedicated pipelines, these facilities facilitate the export of crude oil to both the Kirkuk Facilities and the Erbil Refinery
As part of the continuous development of the CPS Facilities, the company is embarking on the establishment of a Crude Oil Pumping Station
The company has already procured export pumps for this purpose
This initiative is intricately linked with the introduction of a new import pipeline from Tata Production Facilities and a new export pipeline leading to Fayshkhabour Terminal
The proposed station is designated not only to facilitate the crude oil export process but also to serve as the CPS Crude Oil Export Management Center, adapting to various operational scenarios
The project aims to streamline the overall CPS pipeline system export philosophy, encompassing the detailed design of the station and pipeline traps, inclusive of custody metering facilities
