High school student eager to learn about the relationship between the public and their representatives. Previous experience with volunteer/leadership clubs in school and charity driven organizations outside of school.
Attend and write a summary of meetings and topics discussed then use written summaries to help plan club activities, events, and performances. In addition to planning purposes, summaries are used to track club involvement with charity foundations.
Volunteer at school activities such as orientations and tours. The main focus of Methacton Student Ambassadors is running the annual freshmen orientation which offers incoming freshmen a glimpse at their new school, therefore easing some of the anxiety associated with the first few days of school. One of the secondary focuses of Methacton Student Ambassadors is attending back to school night and offering student insight for parents of incoming freshmen or new students into what student life is like at MHS.
