
My heart is to serve our homeless neighbors, as I have been homeless myself many years ago. I enjoy working with guests on their goals what ever they may be. I believe that building a trusting relationship is primary to success. I have spent the last 7 years gaining knowledge by interaction and doing trainings to best use may abilities to love on the homeless.
I graduated from the Hope Place 1 year program in 2013, making me a peer in our community. I have taken many trainings including: Diversion, Mental Health First Aid, Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Domestic Abuse Women's Network training, Mental Health In Ministry, De-Escalation, Genesis Addiction Process and Programs, and the ALL HOME Homeless Housing & Services in King County: The "System" Explained. I have been serving our homeless neighbors for over 7 years in multiple capacities.
