Additional Information

As a dedicated classification counselor, I consistently engage with my colleagues through both verbal and electronic channels to ensure seamless communication. I have nurtured my skills as a facilitator, actively listening, conducting risk needs assessments, and delivering valuable counseling and information to the residents at MLTC regarding community resources.

Leadership Experience

Training is essential to ensure that every job is done efficiently. Therefore, I make use of training opportunities when they are offered. My first voluntary training occurred in July 2021 at TCA for iLEAD training, a four-day foundational leadership workshop focusing on front-line staff. I returned later that year, in October 2021, to receive Critical Incident and Stress Management training and was added to MLTC’s CISM team. On May 5th, 2023, I completed TDOC Basic Hostage Negotiation Training and was added to the team.
