Myles Rabin

I was hired as stock/delivery attendant in a seasonal supermarket for three consecutive summers. My duties included restocking shelves when they were low on products and delivering groceries to customers. This led me to getting hired as a deckhand on the freight boat for the Fire Island Ferries. My responsibilities included, loading, logging and organizing cargo. In addition to knowing water/vessel safety procedures. During the off-season, I have been called upon to assist a local band in setting up and breaking down for their public and private events.

I have been apart of a local volunteer program for eight years called Challenger Athletics. The objective of this program to assist and encourage kids who have special needs, of various types, on how to play various sports such as football, basketball, and lacrosse. Due to my commitment and loyalty to the program, I was awarded a scholarship in 2022. Since then I have still been apart of the program by assisting coaches with all different work stations.
