1st travel assignment with Medical Staffing Solutions. 

Renewed contract for 8 months and loved it.

• Worked with and  altzheimer patients as well as hospice and skilled nursing patients with ADLs including feeding, grooming, vital signs, bathing, etc.

• Basically did PRN hours in between time at a variety of facilities
• Made sure I gave my all to my residents, assisted them with ADLs, help when needed, made sure they were safe/comfortable, etc
• Took vitals
• Went in at times as a relief for someone else and/or extra help
• Was a shower aide at a few facilities when needed

• A contract job I accepted and took on for almost 2 years before going back to PRN schedule
• Gave good care and hygiene to all residents including oral care, bathing, dressing, etc...as well as reporting to nurse how they were, their vitals, wound care,...
• Reported all weights, vitals, pain levels, and all that was needed for nurse
• Made sure to assist with all needs as well as assist other workers in need
• Gave reports to others coming on duty after me to make them aware of what's going on and what to look for/expect...

• Assist, feed, monitor, and help patients achieve nutritional objectives
• Assist with oral and personal hygiene by aiding patients with shaving, bathing, teeth brushing, getting dressed, etc.
• Cared for residents as well as their needs, to make sure they're safe from objects/harm/ or anything in general.
• Give support with ambulation and physical therapy needs. Answer phones, keep up with appointments, their weight, etc

Travel team; we go to a variety of nursing facilities in the state of kentucky that have covid units. We take care of their covid patients and assist with their everyday ADLs including bathing, feeding, grooming, etc. We make sure to wear the proper PPE as well and do our job according to guidelines. Last day of contract was (6/30/22)

To assist and physically help residents with ADLs including:

• Feeding: making sure resident got their proper meal according to their diet. Making sure they ate themselves or got fed as well as keeping them hydrated. Record what they ate and drank...
• Bathing: making sure residents got their bath, shower, or partial baths for the day depending on their schedule.
• Dressing/grooming: to either help, supervise, or set them up for getting dressed and hygiene done.
• Cleanliness: Cleaning room, floors, bathroom, make beds, etc...making sure residents are in a safe and clean environment.
• Answer call lights: within a timely manner and tend to residents needs.
• Report to nurse anything that's out of ordinary, what I've witnessed, noticed different with residents, anything that needs to be reported for or about resident.
• Record all work done in system including meal intake, drink intake, snack intake, behaviors, all outputs/inputs, etc...

To help, supervise, or assist patient with everyday ADLs as well as getting to therapy.

• Bathing: make sure patient get their showers, baths, or partial baths done for the day according to schedule
• Feeding: tend to those who need help or assistance with eating as well as making sure their meals are according to plan. Keep patients hydrated
• Vital signs: take these as soon as our shift start to check patients BP, Temp, oxygen, etc...and report to nurse before medicine is given.
• Accuchecks: check diabetic patients bloodsugars before meals and during episodes. Report to nurse immediately
• Dress/grooming: to supervise, physically assist, set up, or help with patient getting clothes out and put on as well as doing proper hygiene
• Cleanliness: make beds, clean room, pick stuff up off floors, check trash, etc...making sure room is clean and safe for patient to be in as well as the hallways.
• Report to nurse: Report any changes, anything out of ordinary, what I've witnessed if anything, etc...Report all what nurse needs to know immediately
• Record/chart: chart down all that was done for the day as well as behaviors if any, meals consumptions, inputs/outputs, etc
• Answer call lights: do in a timely manner as well as tend to patients needs. Report anything to nurse if nurse or medications are needed.

• Assisted patients with daily living activities, their transferring methods, range of motion, etc...as well as making sure they were safe at all times
• Checked patient vitals such as temperature, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels if required
• Maintained a clean, safe environment by sanitizing surfaces, changing linens, disposing of waste properly, and washing my hands
• Answered call lights and supported patient comfort and safety by adjusting bed rails, floor mats, and other equipment used for safety purposes.
• Promoted good oral and personal hygiene by aiding patients with shaving, bathing, teeth brushing, fixing hair, cleaning nails, etc
• Assisted with feeding and monitored intake to help patients get fed, to know how they're eating, and to make sure no one chokes while getting fed or feeding self
