Provides care for patients in Behavior department under supervision of nursing staff. Observe, report and document patient status and report complaints to charge nurse.
Prepare patients for meals and assist patients with menu selection and serving, feeding at breakfast, lunch, dinner. Also assist patients with activity of daily living. Such as, grooming, shaving, dressing, bathing. Followed principles of infection control and residents safety.

Obtained and chart patients vitals and weight via Prism system..
Performed EKGs and drawing of blood test as ordered by the physician. Collection urine, sputum, and stool specimens.
Maintain a safe and clean environment.

Transport patients for scheduled test and to other unit.

Assisted nurse in preparation patients for procedures.

Assisted patients with ambulation with poor gait.

I also floated and worked @ med surg depart, the ER, C-pep emergency and multiple other area of the hospital

Assisted patients with daily activities of living, such as feeding meal and menu planning, Hygiene; Grooming, bathing assistance, hair, nail and oral care. Assisted patients with taking showers and getting dress. Assisted patients with bed bath and make residents bed. Obtained and charts residents vitals including weight and height. Assisted patients with passive and full range of motion exercises.

Supervised patients with diminished capacity and monitor safety hazards. Obtained and recorded patients vitals, including oxygen level, height and weight. Provided hygiene care. Collected and documented residents intake and output. Responsible for Stat transport of patients specimen. Ensures bed are in the appropriates position, locked at all times, side rails remain the "up" position as indicated, and needed bedside items and call bells are within patients reach. Performed simple dressings, oral suctioning and catheter care. Applies hot and cold pack as needed.
