Nadia Henry

The Agricultural Ambassador represents Colorado State University's College of Agricultural Sciences and serves as an advocate for the agricultural industry and helps fulfill our land grant. Ambassadors play a key role in promoting agricultural education, building community relationships, and supporting recruitment efforts to inspire incoming students and the general public to become involved in agriculture.

• Attend and participate in events such as Welcome Week, Agricultural Week, Fairs, Forums, and Stock Shows.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for prospective students, families, and the broader community about agricultural programs and career opportunities.
• Foster relationships with students, faculty, and alumni to cultivate a strong network of individuals passionate about agriculture.
• Promote the values and goals of the agricultural program, including sustainability, innovation, and ethical practices in farming.

• Volunteered at Austin Vineyards community garden to help sow, upkeep of over 10 beds, and harvest fresh produce for their food banks.
• Continue to participate in helping out farm as much as possible to stay connected within the community.
• Increased crop yield by implementing farming techniques and optimizing drip irrigation systems.
• Selected appropriate crop varieties for each growing season, considering factors such as cover crops, climate, soil health, and market demands.

• Would close and open solo, lead shifts, was responsible for PAR checks, making batches of concentrate, point of scale, and informing customers about our coffee origins/roasters.
