Hello, I'm Nadia Juliano, a 21-year-old with a strong desire to secure a position with a company that values ongoing growth and learning. My journey began in the world of retail in 2021 when I joined T.J. Maxx at the age of 19. I started as a part-timer but swiftly transitioned into a full-time role, showcasing my dedication and work ethic. In the new year of 2022, I proudly accepted a promotion to the position of Sales Floor Coordinator, which I excelled in for a six-month tenure. I was well on my way to becoming a Key Carrier, ready to take on increased responsibilities. Unfortunately, I had to resign from this exciting path due to a relocation to another state. Now, I am excited to bring my skills and determination to a new company that shares my enthusiasm for personal and professional development.
During my tenure at T.J. Maxx, I diligently fulfilled a range of responsibilities. I ensured that most, if not all, of the incoming freight was properly sorted and stocked before the end of my shift. Maintaining a well-organized and tidy workspace was a priority, and I consistently upheld these standards. Additionally, I provided valuable support to my colleagues by covering for them during their breaks, ensuring seamless store operations.
I took the initiative to assist customers by making phone calls to other stores to source specific items when necessary. A proactive approach was central to my role, as I routinely offered customers the opportunity to explore the benefits of a company credit card.
Beyond these duties, I actively monitored the work environment in my area, ensuring that my coworkers were also maintaining cleanliness and efficiency. I made it a point to check in with them to ensure they were comfortable with their tasks and that everything was running smoothly.
Moreover, I prioritized exceptional customer service by personally escorting shoppers to their desired items, even if they were not within my designated area. My commitment extended to assisting with backroom tasks, such as unloading trucks, whenever help was needed.
When it came to closing procedures, I meticulously ensured that cash was handled accurately, the area was impeccably cleaned and organized for the following day, and all registers were securely closed. My dedication to these responsibilities contributed to the overall success and customer satisfaction at T.J. Maxx.
