In this role I sat on the DEIB team and served as the liaison to our Sales team. I was able to utilize both my management and sales experience to develop and create innovative solutions to solve complex sales and DEIB problems. Strong analytical and problem solving skills were necessary to ensure sales and DEIB KPI's were met. Facilitation of consistent weekly meetings and cross collaboration with both teams was a core element in achieving goals. As the DEIB Program Manager for EngageSmart I had the unique opportunity of creating a DEIB Program that would translate and incorporate a total of six unique companies that comprised EngageSmart. In this role I was required to train leadership teams and staff on DEIB basics and topics, data map and integrate related data, and identify gaps and areas of opportunity related to DEIB respectively. Building and nurturing relationships in this role was key. I leaned into my interpersonal skills to gain the confidence of my colleagues. Ensuring consistent and effective meetings were held to adhere to created work flows and education played a critical role in my success. My major accomplishments included creating and delivering DEIB Basics training for our corporate function, creating the inaugural DEIB Committee, Data integration that would live in our DEIB Hub for transparency, and creating an AA/Black Affinity/ERG.
As a GM for Drybar I directed multiple tasks and workflows for a team of 30. I managed a P&L, identified opportunities and developed strategies and programs for business growth. I delivered admin support for financial reporting by preparing and submitting reports. Through dedication and effective management I was able to guarantee compliance with SOPs, including safety measures, privacy laws, and company policies. I was also successful in orchestrated process improvements to reach performance levels of over 90% on all KPIs for inventory management, budget implementation and revenue generation.
