  • I was hired on at this company as machine operator working through a temp agency at the time till being hired on in 2015 and was offered to be put in the die setter program about 6 weeks later the teacher (lead die setter) was on a long leave for family illness making it hard to complete the program at the time I applied for the new forklift operator position and continued with that position putting foil on the back of punch presses as well as loading and unloading trailers It was not my fit as I was working two other part time jobs because living in the Chicago area by yourself is ridiculously expensive I ended up feeling overworked and underpaid on the forklift on minimum sleep and the hours of this position so I looked for employment elsewhere that could live up on my potential hiring for a die setter / set up mechanic the original job I was interested in
