· Under supervision, provides psychotherapeutic interventions/services in accordance with accepted professional and ethical standards of licensing/regulatory bodies and UBHC.
· Provides individual, group and family therapy based on sound clinical judgment as indicated by supervisory.
· Adapts the assessment and treatment processes to accommodate variations in readiness for treatment/change, and implications of age, cultural, medical, economic or other relevant factors.
· Deals appropriately with issues of loss, separation, power, alliance, boundaries, authority, and identity with individuals served and their families as indicated by feedback from team members, individuals served, and by supervisory review.
· Responds with sensitivity to spiritual, cultural and socioeconomic issues of individuals served as indicated by supervisory observation.
· Consistently assesses for physical abuse and neglect; explores sexual/sexuality issues with sensitivity and with goal of determining possibility of past or present sexual trauma and follows policy and state law in reporting suspected abuse or neglect, as determined by supervisory review.
· Monitor compliance with the Exit and Sustainability Plan within the Local Office
· Oversee implementation and sustainability of Evidence Based Case Practice
· Perform individual case management task such administrative reviews, external inquiries, and other situations requiring special handling.
· Complete/oversee reports of child fatalities, near child fatalities, and critical incidents within the Local office.
· Review cases under appeal to make determination regarding the appropriateness of the substantiated or established finding.
· Facilitate weekly mentor meetings.
· Assess teen mentors on an ongoing basis for safety and emotional stability.
· Ensure all paperwork is present and files are up to date.
· Oversee training and weekly operations of Mentor Coordinator & Interns
· Assist in planning and facilitating summer mentor training.
· Assist in planning, facilitating, and attending monthly social events for mentors and mentees.
