Fidelis is a youth group for middle and high school girls. Once a week, I volunteer as a small group leader for fifth graders alongside an adult mentor.

• Teach youth about virtues and church teachings while leading them in games and discussions about how they can apply faith in their decision-making
• Engage youth in meaningful conversation by providing a trusted environment for sharing
• Mentor younger girls by being a role model of virtuous behavior

Teen Corps is a group of high school students that work together to lead a high school youth group every Sunday night. We collaborate to promote an engaging and inclusive environment where teens will grow in their relationship with Christ. This also involves meeting outside of youth group time to plan certain events and gain leadership skills.

• Leading discussion and prayer
• Working hard to create a positive, fun environment
• Establishing the rules of a variety of activities
• Coming up with new ideas and plans for future youth group nights
• Helping set up ahead of time

I participate in an internship twice per week to help the American Sign Language teacher at my school by:

• Grading papers
• Lesson planning
• Coming up with new ideas for engaging classroom activities

I care for a cat whenever her owners are out of town.

• Refill water bowl and prepare the cat food
• Perform other routine functions upon request, such as mail and package retrieval, watering plants, or trash removal
• Visit pet owners' home up to 2 times per day, depending on schedule and needs
• Provide updates to pet owner via text message
• Scoop litter trays and clean out food and water bowls to provide a clean and healthy environment for the cat

In July 2023 and 2024 I attended a leadership retreat for Inspire Summer Camp. This involved going a few days early with a group of high school girls to set up and decorate for the camp week. Throughout the week, we assisted campers with any questions they had and led various recreational and religious activities to ensure campers were growing in their faith while having a fun week at camp.

• Ensured every individual felt seen and known throughout the camp week
• Promoted an energetic and positive perspective throughout the camp week
• Remained calm during high-stress situations, demonstrating problem-solving in real time

In June 2023 and 2024 I volunteered at Vacation Bible School, where I led an assigned group of kids through games, dances, Bible stories, and prayers.

• Worked with parents to ease transitions at the beginning and end of VBS
• Sang and danced to Bible songs with children to reinforce lessons
• Held children's interest for up to 3 or 4 hours by offering a variety of activities

Being an LIT required me to assist counselors as the campers were involved in different activities throughout the camp day.

• Maintained a positive attitude and cheerful disposition while helping guide campers to various activities
• Contributed to a fun camp atmosphere
• Assisted with any tasks requested of me

Participated in and satisfied all requirements for the American Red Cross in-person Babysitter's Training course which covered:

• Leadership skills
• Childcare basics
• Emergency preparedness
