Through my experiences in a peer support course and my own personal journey through recovery, I have come to recognize the significance of individuals taking ownership of their recovery, while simultaneously having access to the necessary support systems. I have acquired various skills, including motivational interviewing, active listening, and additional techniques. My aspiration is to aid my peers in reaching their recovery goals within a support framework that is understanding, respectful, and attuned to their unique journeys.
