Grew up in Norco, California (Horse Town USA), has been riding since the age of 4 years old. Before purchasing first horse, rode grandparents' horses and competed in mutton busting. First horse in second grade at the age of 7 years old. Trail rode and competed in gymkhana for 4 years. Due to death of first horse, and COVID, a 3-year break from riding occurred. Purchased a second horse at the age of 15 and has been riding constantly since then.
Has always ridden western and is ranked an intermediate-advanced rider. Rides with gentle and steady hands. Fully comfortable being around horses of any behavior level and confident in disciplining when necessary. competed in first Rodeo Queen pageant. This pageant consisted of a written test on horsemanship, an interview, a horsemanship pattern, a personal interview, an onstage interview, and a speech. Competing in this pageant enhanced people skills as well as public speaking skills. Participating in horsemanship practice every week helped to further expanded equine knowledge and overall equitation.
