Summary

My two sisters, brother and I were born in Kenya and our two younger sisters and younger brother were born here in the US. I was 8 years old when my family moved to Buffalo when I couldn’t speak any English. Now I speak Swahili, Mai Mai, Kizigua, Somali, and English fluently and I am learning Korean, and Arabic. Language Arts and Cultural Studies are my favorite subjects at University. I was the secretary for the Black Student Union, Events Planner for the Asian Student Union, and Marketing Chair for the International Student Club. In my free time I enjoy exploring new languages and cultures.
