  • I was also a member of the hospital cardiac arrest team and participated in several codes during my time at Altnagelvin Hospital.

  • I was a part of the inpatient service at Musgrave Park Hospital, which was an acute rehab unit for geriatric patients that were discharged from general medical floor

  • Following the ward round, I carried out various tasks such as requesting necessary investigations, following up on their progress, preparing discharge letters, keeping families updated, and liaising with PT/OT and social work for effective discharge planning
  • Additionally, I participated in the outpatient falls and dementia clinic, where I evaluated geriatric outpatients
  • During out-of-hours shifts, I would provide float coverage to inpatients on Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Brain Injury floors
  • I also led biweekly multidisciplinary team meetings (MDTs) involving social work, PT/OT, and nursing, fostering collaborative holistic patient management.
