- I maintained current knowledge regarding library reading trends, as well as popular books for children. I was up to date on the publishing trends and those yearly award winners from the American Library Association.
- I cultivated knowledge of Spanish language materials pertinent to the elementary classroom.
- I hosted several family author nights. I was in charge of several different all school science events.
