As a higher level General Assembler, I led a team of other lower level Assembler's with leadership from Engineering to complete projects that were not quite ready for production. Strong communication skills were a must, and the ability to adapt quickly to changes in BOM and Drawings were top priority. Leadership qualities included training lesser lower lever assembler's in job duties and help resolving build issues unless escalation was needed. A large focus was also always on safety and keeping shop bays clean and orderly.

• Effectively prioritized workload to meet deadlines consistently, contributing to the successful completion of numerous engineering projects.
• Worked closely with Engineering but also acting as a conduit to Assemblers in the shop. Making sure machinists were completing parts to spec and assemblers were using "build books" that I had created to make the process streamlined.
• Lead numerous Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing events to streamline assembly and other shop areas, under the direction of Engineering.

• Validated final assembly by conducting thorough inspections, ensuring product conformance with established specifications and quality standards.
• Increased team productivity with effective delegation, task prioritization, and time management strategies, Using 5s principles.
• Trained new assembly personnel on proper use of equipment.
• Troubleshot and resolved mechanical issues that occurred during assembly.
